Looking for patchs and or downloads, I just got back in the flight seat after a couble yeays off on other projects. HOW TO PATCH AND GET UPDATS MODS ETC HELP AN OLD FLYER

If you have the system for it, binning OFF and buying WoFF is a very good move, because the latter is not merely an update, but considerably improves on the former. WoFF's a much superior sim in about every way and remedies many OFF weaknesses, like poor formation-keeping and AI that can fly without the penalty of the weight of fuel and ammo.

If stuck with OFF, a must-have is Ankor's D3D mod for CFS3, which introduces stuff like aircraft self-shadowing, head bobbing and the ability to adjust the field of view so that from outside, planes no longer look like they are being viewed through a distorted, wide-angle lens. IIRC you can get this after registering at sim-outhouse,com.
