Hi all!

Has anyone had an issue with the F18C commanding full deflection on the elevators?
It seems nothing I do rectify it and as you might imagine, eventually I run out of energy and end up planting the aircraft...

Thanks in advance!

Make sure you check all the controller assignments to make sure there are no conflicts, DCS has a habit of assigning them to multiple controllers at the same time.

Got the problem once. Just reassigning the axis helped with this issue for me.

Check your gross weight as well. High fuel weight landings will necessitate more stick input if not properly trimmed. You'll run out quickly.

I’ll check the axis. It’s strange, there are two symptoms, slow pick up of speed off the runway (fair example, clean, full reheat, it takes almost the entire length of Nellis runway to reach 150KIAS), even when clean and the maximum deflection of the tailerons... it’s certainly hampering any enjoyment lol

Ok, just checked the axes, tried re-assigning, but to no avail. I’ve checked that my axes aren’t mapped to anything else, and removed all of the random added axes that the programme adds. I’m really not sure what else is going on... any other suggestions gratefully received...

I’ve solved it... I had checked game flight dynamics.

What about the rudders. Anyone else notice they hardly move in external view? Even in cockpit view there is minor movement when in the air

I haven't checked out the rudder schedule throughly, but there should be significant FBW involvement there. Generally, full rudder deflection is a high AoA affair - anything else would probably be damped.
