Hi Guys,
I posted the below in the "Sim Builders" section but got no responses so I thought I'd try it here.

I'm looking at fitting a curved screen to the front of my pit and project the forward view on to that.

I know from research online that I need some sort of "warping" software to get the picture to fit the screen but the ones I've seen are far too expensive for home use.

I did see one called "NTHusim" that seems aimed at home users, but they have been purchased by a bigger company and shut down.

Does anyone know of a freeware or reasonably priced program that does this ?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Hi mate

Is the stuff from http://nthusim.com/ not good enough? There are two downloads at the bottom, have you tried them? In the past I came across a few topics about curved projecting but was not that bothered about it I will not have any answers for you I am afraid.

Those downloads appear to be for existing customers. It seems doubtful that AndyB could use them without having bought a license back when the product was still for sale.

Hi Andy B,

nThusim is no longer sold or supported they closed that division.. there are a few possibilities with Warping software one is here:

SimPit Warp:

https://www.simpit.co.nz/index.php/software/simpit-warp

another is Elise:

https://fly.elise-ng.net/

Now basically they are the same core program.. Now not sure what you would say is "reasonably Priced" both are spendy a bit.. I have never found an Open source warping program and free is NON Existent..

there are other companies but for the money this one is a really good one.. if you have any questions please feel free to ask..

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the responses.

Unfortunately I'm due to be "retired" from my job due to a hip problem in the next couple of months so am not in a position to spend that kind of money.

It was a nice dream.

Thanks anyway,

Andy

Online streaming on the Internet is a great way to spread your message, increase brand awareness and develop relationships with fans and subscribers. Instagram Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram are the main sites where the vast majority of people stream videos every day for these reasons. Therefore, since my wife is engaged in the manufacture of dishes and has a great demand, we decided to talk to people and find out what they would be interested in learning about her work. To prepare, we needed to turn to led screens for hire in London and it was very cool! They were able to make this event unforgettable!

HI CameronGrah,

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a way to do it cheaply never mind without spending money.

I've had to dump the idea and am now working on using an old 40" TV with a PC and HDMI input. I'll just stick that in front of the windscreen and box it in with thin plywood (painted matt black).

I know it takes time and money to develop software programs, but if one company can do it for a £50 licence then surely others could. But they'd rather add in loads of stuff (up to 16 projectors !!!!!) that most people won't use and hike the price.

Cheers,

Andy
