The Metropolitan Opera's production of Bizet's Carmen! I like all kinds of music and even saw the Sex Pistols!

I'm currently immersing myself in the work of Gianna Nannini. As a boy I lived in a part of Denmark where we started getting television from Germany, and the influence of Italian culture and music on German television was the reason I got into some Italian Pop/Rock. If the familly name sounds familiar.... Gianna's brother is Alessandro Nannini, the ex-racing driver.

Even in a Google translation the words are quite beautiful.

Many seas and rivers will cross
You will find me inside your land
Turbines and storms I will ride
I will fly among the lightning to have you

Wonderful creature
You are alone in the world
Wonderful fear
To have you next
Eyes of sun burn me in the middle of the heart
I love wonderful life

Light of my eyes shines on me
I want a thousand moons to caress you
I hang from your dreams, I watch over you
Do not wake up, do not wake up again ...

Wonderful creature
You are alone in the world
Wonderful fear
To have you next
Sun eyes
The words tremble
I love wonderful life

Wonderful creature
A slow kiss
Wonderful fear
To have you next
Suddenly you come down to paradise
I'm dying of wonderful love ...

And you know what? Rufus and Chaka Khan were dope.
