My favorite mission type is escorting the two-holers. You get to lumber along and enjoy the scenery, somewhat, while anticipating action! Bringing the two-holers home intact with their mission accomplished is a nice feeling. Bringing them home AND bagging an enemy is great! What's yours?

I enjoy line patrols (as high as possible). Most times I'll let autopilot take over and I'll stare at the shells exploding in No Mans Land. For being a game, the scenery and action down below gets me every time. Can't get enough. Most times I'm pounced if I pay attention to other things too much.

I got fired as the door man at a sperm bank.
Apparently it's in poor taste to tell leaving customers "Thanks for coming."

+1
+ bombing missions, especially airfields.

Escort missions would be cool (along with patrol my favorite) but there used to be, IMHO, a waypoint issue with their assigned flight path.
Since then I have been using a modified mission file (different for Germans and British) to remove certain things.

I also like escort missions, it gives you a feeling of responsability.
The only part I dont like is that the escorted planes make a run for it rather quickly when an enemy is in the area. On several occasions I saw the bombere turn around, while being escorted by my flight of 6. So I guessed that there must be approaching a big enemy flight. But when I investigate the enemy threat, i find only a single enemy. I find that quite unrealistic imo.
Anyone else with the same experience?

I also like to fly Sopwith Triplanes as the leader then orbit near enemy airfields waiting for the enemy to take off. We swoop in and 'mass-a-cree' those Huns. Nothing can stop a Sopwith Triplane except ground fire or mechanicals!

I enjoy line patrols, escort, and attacking Railyards both in scout or 2 seater aircraft. Straffing the odd supply column heading home after a primary mission is a nice little challenge provided you have enough ammunition, fuel, and your kite hasn’t suffered to much damage.
