i was just casually looking for falcon 4, and found a bunch of classic sims like b-17, f117 ,falcon 3.0,f-14 fleet defender, knights of the sky
Sems retroism is a publisher who is bringing those old games back. if only EA would do the same with their sims......

I recall Taskforce 1942 came with it's original copy protection - identifying the image of the ship from the printed microprose manual.
I remember something like that was used with the first B-17 by MicroProse. A code wheel of some sort that you had to line up correctly based on a phrase on-screen when starting the game. Anybody else remember this?
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe used it as well. Quite a few sims from the late 80's and early 90's used that sort of copy protection.

It's better to buy these much older games on GOG since they actually are improving these games regarding playing them on new OS. AFAIK Steam doesn't do that.

I have a bunch of old sims running in DOSBox, but I’m sure I’m not running them with the best DOSBox config. Any hints here?
