Is that the car that took off half of Big Daddy's foot?

Yep. Both the model and the book it's sitting on came from there. My daughter lives in Ocala so every time we visit I go to his museum.

That is a cool model! A friend of mine worked for 'Big Daddy' for a spell. He was a 'body man' and helped maintain/restore(?) vehicles in the museum. I haven't seen George J. in forever but he did the beautiful body work on my '57 Beetle years ago and is still slowly being brought back to better than new standards. The seats are being upholstered presently. It even has a Judson on its 36hp engine!

Nice piece. I couldn't even imagine stepping into one of those old drag machines with the engine all poked out like that in front of me. Big cahunas on Big Daddy!

That car is setting in his museum just as it was after that crash.
