I have. Its a good relaxing game or a cut throats game depending on which sever U use. Its also a eye candy game. The pros The ships attention to detail smooth gaming. The cons: Making money ( Reels ) at the beginning. The ship is free basic Cutter with 12 pd short guns , the repair is free also, They have missions that are a pain.and Fishing. I would recommend the Patrols and avoid anything larger. Attack enemy the same size but run if damaged. then as the Reels build start trading. Buy low sell high. The other not so great thing is the amount of crew is tied to Rank. My experience, As a Lt Commander 200 men is max til the next Rank. I redeemed a Freebee, 90 Gun ship of the line and it sits in the dock till I rank up to Commodore ? then I have enough to sail it.
Bummer !. Advice: Use the Relaxing sever to get used to game play and making money and buy and equip Ur ships with Long barrel Cannon when U can. Always take any Free Redeemable s. and Have fun
Avast there Matey , Clans ? No not really, but when u start playing the game there's an information Server ? a player that will answer and advise all players about Clans, Boats, guns, and help if U get stuck. When u get in the game look for a 2 mug Icon at the bottom and click on it the after a pop up click global and ask away. Also from time u start playing someone will ask about joining clans. I have seen them help out as a new player got stuck, no crew, no money so the game would not let him leave the Harbor. Whoever was the Global adviser/Player answering player questions. Gave him a better boat. and 100,000 Reels for buying crew and getting back in the game. U can buy a whole bunch of boats for that Some of the Players on the Cut throat side are kinda making it pay to win, Biggest Boats selling in fleets attacking 1 ship that kinda thing. Buying up the resources.
