I just replaced my faulty pots with these from Amazon;

Potentiometers Linear D-Shaft 50K POT (Set of 3) Alpha RV24AF-10-15F-B50K

They were a little larger in size requiring me to cut the "D" shaft shorter to fit. Also I have to cut the roll Pot holder to fit. It works great using a Leo Bodnar BU0836-LC board.

Just for curiosity run JoyResTester and see what resolution you achieve with this pot' - that seems 300º model, their datasheet is not much informative.

BU0836 is capable of 12 bits (4096) resolution. Look in tab "RES' on test.

Or in VKB Joy Tester: http://ftp.vkb-sim.pro/Programms/VKB_JoyTester.zip

But this program require some math for know resolution (in bits or points):

- select your device
- gently move the axis until you get a first consistent "step" value
- and then: 65536/step value = resolution (number of values per axis)

In my picture (VKB Black Mamba, set to 12-bit resolution): 65536/16 = 4096

8-bit = 256
9-bit = 512
10-bit = 1024
11-bit = 2048
12-bit = 4096
13-bit = 8192
14-bit = 16384
15-bit = 32768
16-bit = 65536 (step=1)

If the step value suddenly jumps to 1, just restart the process.
