When developing the Mig15bis reflector sight we discovered that you could stack two effects on top of each other. This allowed us to have a fixed diameter ring and pips that could be range scaled with shift+[ and shift+]. That would let you make the horizontal bar adjustable if you made it a different texture and gave it its own effect entry.

Holy **** that is amazing, I've just done a test to figure out how to stack images there and it went ok, so it is time now to make the width bars sizeable.

Hmm, well my initial messing about ended with having to reinstall! I'll need to be more careful future.

I'll take my time on this, as I don't actually need this so much and I don't know if there's much call for it, but it is a nice challenge so would be fun to do.

Edit: Figured out my bug, now a matter of getting things sized up to be meaningful (it'll be ready when it is)
