L.Bodnar BU0836A/X have a nice feature that automatically disable (analog) axes that have no pot or sensor connected, so no axis input remain open, with pins "hanging in the air" picking electric noise.

From their Q&A:
Quote
Unused analog inputs are automatically disabled. They will appear as soon pots are connected and
BU0836A is powered up. In other words, if they are not connected - you will not see them.

If you don't have any kind of analog device connected to BU0836 this behavior is correct.

Oh,thats right thank you ! I have another problem with calibration with BU0836 and analog halls or Mjoy + magrez sensors its almost impossible to calibrate axis accurately (finding right magnets, turn magnet in zero position, tightening pcb with sensor in position) i was swearing all the time attack

I found here mmjoy board and TLE5010 sensors these sensors are digital and they dont need manual calibration or they even dont need strong magnets right ?

Analog HALL (Honeywell SS495A1, Allegro 1324EUAT) are really PITA to find center relative to magnet and calibrate. I have used both and require a lot of trial and error until match sensor + magnet positions.

(GVL224) MagREZ contactless sensor is said be more friendly, they "calibrate" themselves for magnet placement, are less sensible to center magnet position relatively to sensor like ordinary HALL. Don't know in practice, never use one.

TLE5010 don't offer advantage relative to MagREZ in matter of magnet placement, require magnet in the same way.
Their advantage is communicate via digital bus with controller became less susceptible to electric noise, but are compatible only with MMjoy2 since firmware has support their digital mode.

OK,so switching from mjoy16 + magrez to mmjoy + TLE5010 is not big deal ?
And what about VKB sensors they need to be calibrated manually too ?
