Hi ChiefWH;
Both types of personal insignia are correct. It seems that specific aircraft had different insignia and that was the basis for the skin generation. Should there be some historic representation that merits changing things, that can be done rather quickly.
Hope this helps, and feel free to provide any insights on the matter.

Robert, not that it makes any difference, but the insignia you are referring to aren’t personal. The round one, with the stylized American flag as the background, identified by ChiefWH as Kościuszko, is the squadron insignia. Most airplanes of 303 wore this emblem in a few different locations, but somewhere near the cockpit. The second one, the red and white checkerboard is the Polish Airforce insignia, the equivalent of the RAF roundel. This obviously indicated that the plane was flown by Polish crew. More prominent on the Spitfires than on Hurricanes. Quick Googleing didn’t yield any results for RF-B to check if the emblems should be there. Anyone have any pics?

You are correct Fullofit they are not personal insignia, they are Squadron and the checkered one is Polish as you said.
The RF B however does not display the squadron insignia but did carry the Polish checker board.
It is recorded in the publication "Aircm Aviatio Series NoS.1 Battle of Britain" aircraft profiles.
