There is some current work in progress, but I question the use of 1.28c.
1.28c does not use planesets, whereas 1.28e and 1.29 do.
If the only reason to use 1.28c is the 640x480 screens then surely it is better to use either the special 640x480 version of 1.28e or the special 640x480 version of 1.29.
These exes have several improvements and additional features which are not available in 1.28c smile

Where do we get the downloads for the latest 128e and 129?

I know there was a stipped down 1.29 that was used by Col. Gibbon back in 2016. I think I still have it but I'm looking for your recent takes on the versions you mentioned since you lacked the download links for the mentioned files.

can someone point me to it please? I've got v1.28 installed but want to get to 1.60 but I think I need 1.28c to get there? thanks

1.60 is a complete, self-contained package. Just get it at the relevant sticky-post near the top of the forum. You don't need 1.28c or any other EAW version.
