The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in Gives way and suddenly it’s day again The sun is in the east Even though the day is done Two suns in the sunset, hmph Could be the human race is run

“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”
Recently I was refreshing our MP3 playlists (mostly for long walks, outdoors and treadmill), sitting cozily together with the laptop and choosing songs. I browse and organize in iTunes, either syncing with our iPod Shuffles or manually copying a playlist to our new MP3 players. I noted that she was going heavy on the Eagles and reflected that, other than a couple of later singles like Seven Bridges Road, they have only 3 albums that I (and probably most fans) even care about...
Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975) Hotel California (1977) The Long Run (1979)
...but dam these are packed with a lot of good songs! What's the worst song in that collection? I dunno...The Disco Strangler? And I still listen to it.
Unfortunately, we never saw the Eagles in concert together (I saw them in '94? but she was in Iowa on business travel). To me their music never gets old, even the song that's joked about as being so 'white guy music' (posted below).
