Yea well it is slow progress. I have seen some good things in 3.007 like AI breaking out of endless right or left circling(sometimes), wing man staying with lead until things get harry, Ai shooting in bursts instead of just hosing away. Things I did see that are still broken and are really bad, Ai will fly right by one bomber (while being lit up by that bomber) to position to shoot another bomber, Ai fly dead 6 to shoot bomber(AAAAHhhhhh!!), AI keep pursuing target when they are out of ammunition until they are killed usually, Ai's plane is damaged early in mission and they just keep on the mission until they engine quits & then they ditch or die, Ai do not maintain superior altitude when attacking a bomber, they will dive below and will not zoom back up but do a lazy turn and slow climb to bomber 6 and get clobbered by rear gunners. These kind of little AI flaws add up to make it hard to like flying in SP for more than a few days before you just think I am wasting my time here because I basically am a lone wolf and I just use AI Squad members as bate so that I can get some kills and go home and see if there is anyone else in the squad left. I do see little fixes here and there, but it doesn't seem that any of the most blaring have been looked at other than the AI piling straight into the ground on moving mud missions. The update report said this was fixed but I have not tested it yet. I am thinking of starting a list on SimHQ (Here) where peeps can list the most needed AI fixes(and continually updating the initial post list) and prioritizing them and then PMing them to Jason.
