Is there a good final version of EAW WWI ?

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

Sadly No.
The flight models are the major problem. Ralf and Roller did a few but many max speeds like the Spit 1a and the Me109-E.

OG, while there is no WWI scenario and never will be, there are lots of pre-WWII bi-planes in some of the existing scenarios, especially Desert Air War and to a lesser extent, South Pacific Air War.

Heck, even paranoids have enemies.

If you fly multiplayer and set a groundstart, then as soon as you start your engine the AI planes start theirs on the ground, and can be seen in F9.
I had ExtraSquads set to 17, and I was checking if the exe could handle all those planes. It did smile
This does not happen in single mission mode as AI planes tend to be generated in the air, and sometimes after your own take-off.

Edit:
I just did my single mission 190 intercept of B17s with a groundstart.
As soon as I started my engine I went through F9 as quickly as possible. The only AI planes shown were my support 109Ks, and they were already spawned in the air.
After the warning re- enemy planes I could see the B17s and P38s in F9 too, but in the air of course.

One thing I would like to see is a change in take offs. The stacked on a runway is great for The 8th AF heavys 9th AF Mediums but, the Luftwaffe used airfields more than runways, except for the autobahn in '45. Line abreast is used way beyond 1940...

Otherwise, great look Jell, but I sure would not want to be the ground exec on any of those shots...,I give them a 10 for creativity and use of terrain!
