I'm working on SPIT XIV Multiskin. These are the first two airplanes

Skin Notes:
Skin was developed from Nico's Spitfire Mk IXc which in turn was
based on the HR skin by DeanH and the HR 3Dz by Col. Gibbon
which was further modified by Ray'Rotton50'Otton.
As usual I've tweaked some, but not all, of this skin's detailing......

This skinning project was developed for Emil's 9th.USAAF/2nd.TAF ETO Campaign

@Modred, why are you using lifted Credits from my web site on the news section of this old mod your modding?
https://www.moddb.com/games/aces-over-europe

Thats kinda weird you did that!?!

You'll need to build your own credit list, based on past material you use or what not.

Has this been resolved ?

What? The credit list issue? I still see he uses my credit list.

Not sure why...as my sources would defiantly be from different material than a re-modding an existing mod. Where his credit would come from other peoples work.

I'm not terrible upset about it, its just very confusing and misguided.

Hi,
sorry but I saw only now.
I used the credits because the material is not all mine, in particular I used the credits of your site for two reasons:
- because I used information and I often consult your excellent website.
- because I thought of doing a little 'advertising to your website that is very useful
finally, I believe that the community of eaw must be honored and therefore I have included it in the credits.
I certainly could not include everyone ...

if you think it's appropriate, I can remove sigh

Modred thanks for the compliment.

My list of credits is based on people that I used for my site and does not represent the entire EAW community, then (late 1990s/eaely 2000s) or now. I have very specific reasons for that list.

Making your own list of specific credits for your self is ideal. It takes some work to keep track of authors or people etc, but you should see over the time your creation is modded that your own list will grow.
I also recommend instead of lifting text directly from the site for other areas on moddb, that you be creative and form your own thoughts and opinions.

I have no problem for you to fact check vs my site, but then again my fact checking can be wrong too, even if I strive to make those facts correct.

Thanks man.

OK thanks
I will try to make a more correct list.
at the moment I have little time and I'm finishing up creating multiskin squadrons.
ah ... when AoE will be free for everyone ... modder and not.
the important thing is that you can have fun.

Hi Mark
I removed the credits that were not good.

Hi rwatson
AoE is not finished. It is still in the testing phase. I am currently creating the Ju88C squadron (multiskin), then I have to build the B25 squadron and then I have completed all the planes.
Work in progress 80%.

regards
