TrackIr has worked without issue since the day I installed it, months ago. But then, quite suddenly, Sunday, it went haywire. I tried everything. I even switched to the hat and it still was crazy.

I decided to try the minimum. I shut down the system, not having any more time to play around.

Monday I restarted everything and it was fine. No problems. Great! I'd solved the issue, whatever it was.

This morning I loaded TrackIr and WOFF and went on my AM patrol. Suddenly, as I looked back at the rest of my Flight, the horizon flipped and the damned thing went crazy again. #%&*$#! #%&*$#!

I turned toward my wife, who was sitting at her desk, behind me and to the right, to lament my misfortune. There she was, playing on-line poker, nursing her shattered left leg--two plates, 11 screws, and a bone graft.

Then it hit me! One of the many treatments she is using to help heal her leg, is shining a special light on her leg. And what kind of special light? You guessed it! AN INFRARED LIGHT!!!!

I asked her to turn it off and, sure enough, WOFF and TrackIr were fine. No problems.

I would never have guessed that my own wife was an Entente agent provocateur!

Fortunately, I didn't get killed.

Nowi - had mine go berserk on me a few days ago when I was playing in the evening. The culprit? My holiday candle which was burning on the hutch behind my desk... rofl

PS: Here's to your wife's speedy recovery!
