Sad. I started watching this with the kids, then the kids grew up and I kept watching.

That said, I always felt Spongebob was pretty stupid and imagined children's brains melting everywhere while watching the show.

my kids got me hooked on Spongebob - i always found it more entertaining and interesting than most of the other animated crap out there. it was a kids show i could watch with them without getting bored ( teen titans would be the other one )
