I fixed the problem by re-installing the 1.16.0 upgrade, now my cockpit is back to normal.

Javelin, are you saying that the new hi res cockpit textures are correct or did you managed to get back to original textures? I have the same problem and reinstalling did not change anything at all. I have removed the folder with new cockpit textures and put the old one back in...but the strange thing is that the new flipped textures are still present when I run Afognak map but on any other maps the old cockpit is present. WTF? Any ideas?

go to cohokum graphic textures cockpit ah64dcockpit\ and delete everytning from this folder.and only then reinstall (if you do not delete the old installation)

Did that, my cockpit is back to normal (low-res) but I've managed to pull some dds files from the hi res package, converted them to bmp's and replaced original textures with the hi res ones. Seems to be working now. A lot of hassle but still worth it LOL

If you want you can test it - please remove all files from "ah-64d-cockpit" folder in \cohokum\graphics\textures\cockpit\ah-64d-cockpit , download my rar file (see below), extract all files into the "ah-64d-cockpit" folder and enjoy.

Well I have been working on this till like 2.30 am lol. Anyway, new thread created ( http://SimHQ.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4450453/ah-64d-hi-res-cockpit-for-1-16#Post4450453 ) so will see if people will like it or not To be honest I have made backups of backups of another backups of my EECH folder so could try from scratch when things were going a bit odd (or maybe as was just paranoid and tired). Anyway, any future questions about the work will hopefully go on that new thread.

Well people do backing up. or they will start to do it ;)I also make 100 backups, and copy to the cloud.
