I've already posted in the tech help forum, but I was wondering if anyone else that is using a CHP Fighterstick is getting uncommanded inputs. I can't fly WOFFUE like this. I tried to fix it in the control settings, checked all the bindings...etc. but it won't stop.

Nothing wrong with my stick, I use it for DCS and Prep3D without incident. I don't see where you can add a decent 'null zone'... that would probably help.

Any ideas or help would be great. Thanks,

OvS

I have all CH gear. I had some trouble, but found a ready made file that worked for me. I used that, and then gradually changed it to suit my purposes.

I think it was somewhere on the WOFF files website.

I'll give that a shot and see hot it goes. Right now, it's unflyable... gotta be better than that.

Didn't work. It's strange... if I watch the controls from an external view, it looks like there is just a sudden limit input... meaning the elevator will go from neutral to immediate full... back to neutral in a split second. Almost like a twitch.

Are you connecting them directly to the PCs USB ports? I had to buy a powered USB hub. Otherwise, I had strange problems.

tried both. I have a small USB hub as well. Was hoping that would help, but it didn't.

I wonder if there is any way to add a null zone to a config file somewhere. That would probably work for me.

Whats even more strange about this is that I never had this problem in the past. I had to reformat my HD and rebuild everything from scratch. I reloaded WOFFUE, but kept the original folder as I have it on another drive... I wonder if that's the problem. Maybe I'll uninstall, delete the folder and reinstall the game.

I just had to reinstall and feared I’d lose my setup. But, to my surprise, it was still there, despite the fact that I had uninstalled the old setup. So I have to assume that some if the files were still in the drive, including the setup. So maybe a reinstall would work, but check and make sure that all the files are actually gone. Maybe uninstall and then delete any remaining directories and files.

OK, deleted game, reloaded... no changed. Loaded the CM Manager, and played with a ton of settings after watching a tutorial.

In the end I realized it's not the stick. I unplugged it and still have the same issues, however I managed to remove the elevator being stuck in the down position. It's now level and staying that way, but the ailerons seem stuck in a left turn. I can't even fly it with the keyboard.

Not sure at all what is causing this... especially with the joystick removed.

Found it! It was in the bindings... my rudder pedals were duplicating the control stick. WOFF probably saw my pedals first because I don't keep my joystick plugged in, however my rudder pedals are all the time.

Wow... I didn't think of that until I was staring at the bindings for a while. So lesson learned for anyone that unplugs things and likes a tidy desk. LOL!

Thanks for your help Nowi! And I agree... I only love the N.28 when I have it burning in my sights. Lol.

All the best, another happy flier is up again!

Not only do I not unplug mine, I do not close the CH program unless I turn off the PC, which I rarely do.
