Nice pics Moggy smile
Isn't it great to be able to set the mission time based on sunrise and sunset to get those effects.

I have just been checking on the quality of the flak puffs, contrails, and damaged engine smoke graphics in 160

They fade well, and I am very happy with them
The "seasons" folder system is a real bonus too smile

The visual effects as seen in the two posts above leave very little for even the most demanding sim player.

Nicely done!

I bless those single mission set up abilities. I really do like the skies EAW is able to generate.

This is how it is done
[Linked Image]
The mission time at the target is set for 16:00 just after sunset on that day
Clicking on the values for the month, day, hour and minute increases them.

The B17s are on there way wink

I think that it is related to the horizon fog set-up. This could be worth investigating.

A few more, including from the China theatre, and the oil tanks burning at Dunkirk.

Mike, there are improved models for a lot of those plane that you posted and the skins fit perfectly.

Take a look in the 1.6 Aircraft_Inventory folder.

Just a few more.

And thanks Ray, I do look at the revisions and often pass. Mainly because of the amount of time I put into "fixing" the element alignments so the seams, panel lines, bolts and rivets come out in straight lines and follow the contours painted on the texture panels. The ones that have been fixed or where created without major alignment flaws are being used. I say this as I am finishing the Caudron 714 from the DAW group you put together. It was a challenge. The Dewoitine 510 revision from Tuma's model was a joy. So it goes. I know that these issues come from the original models not your work. We can talk more at the Gen if need be.

Ray's tires at work.

Personally, I'd choose to have a few slightly misaligned element textures that are not even noticeable than those old style raggedy wheels, wingtips and engine nacelles..

But, to each his own.

Jeez iron mike, those look superb.

A joy to see all these screenies, and a blessing on Ray for making round that which was not round previously!
