It looks like new features are incoming..from the Home page news section dated 19th Dec.
"We are working on some new free features for Wings Over The Reich V1.9. Coming soon, these new improvements include German Bomber Flights that will sometimes form one large offensive force. Increased 109 Escort activities in player region - watch your six! Improved formations will also contain multiple flights, optimisations and more! "

Apart from a few die hards keeping the forum going due to the RR Challenge, very little interest seems to be generated.
Come on devs, give us a few bones to chew over!
I'm really busy on a number of mods, not official stuff I realise, and very much a matter of individual taste as to whether it is of any value, but the map is coming along and I should have a new version of that out relatively soon. The other mods I have installed for myself currently are delayed from sharing pending the next official patch and some testing I'll need to do whcih I don't have the time for as I'm mapping mapping mapping at the moment.
The devs said they will be putting AI engine start-up sounds in the next patch if you hadn't seen, which is great news (and saves me time and effort messing further with that mod), like the individual flight numbers they did, it is a pretty welcome thing they're adding.
As for the forum generally, I've learnt my lesson on getting too involved in forums, so my interest in WOTR far outweighs my forum posting rate!

This place along with WOFF forum is usually a chilled out place. Hoping for some news soon regarding the next patch\add-ons hopefully within

My take is that it's going remarkably well. The are quite a few additional improvements to accuracy beyond those previously advertised. And there's a couple which are not merely functionally useful, they create the impression you are working in what today would be called an integrated air defence system, not merely flying WW1-type operations in WW2. For such a large update, it's been remarkably plain sailing, from the point I got involved anyway.
There are now well over 50 Improvements and fixes in WOTR V1.19. Some are quite a change. One new feature is the ability to call Control for a Vector to enemy aircraft.
I will post the full change list soon.
We have been extremely busy what with WOFF PE release, and working on WOTR V1.19 too.
Thanks Lima and Pol,the upcoming 1.19 sounds incredible.
