Cool, I'll buy the paperback this evening. thumbsup

The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in
Gives way and suddenly it’s day again
The sun is in the east
Even though the day is done
Two suns in the sunset, hmph
Could be the human race is run

As an alternative to Amazon, you can get the paperback here on LULU for 10.99 USD (about $7 cheaper than Amazon list price, not sure about difference in shipping costs - though most countries have a local LULU print point, just be sure you shop in your local LULU store - check the flag at the top of the login menu)

http://www.lulu.com/shop/fx-holden/bering-strait/paperback/product-23862093.html

They have a 15% off deal ending today...

Save 15% on orders of print books and calendars
Code: FIFTEEN
Ends November 8 at 11:59 PM

ENJOY!

That's ok, I needed a couple other things off Amazon anyway. Plus it was free shipping. smile

"Brilliant well thought out fast paced thriller - read it in one hit staying up to 04:00!" PJames, Amazon.

Read Bering Strait with caution. BTW interested readers can pick up the e-Book free on Amazon Wednesday, November 14, 2018 to Thursday, November 15, 2018, 11:59 PM PST

If you want to help the fundraising, buy a paperback! Not only is it a good read, but thick and heavy enough you can use it afterwards as a monitor stand, door stop, paperweight, or non-lethal discussion closer*.

Bought it for Kindle and am at the point where the Russian and American are arguing over who caused the (no spoiler) "incident." Good work, FX.

The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

Mine arrived on Friday, thicker than I expected. As soon as I'm finished with the book I'm reading (almost done) I'm going to start in on it.

Works as a doorstop after reading, or handy reach-extender for changing light bulbs

PS If you enjoy PLS leave a review on Amazon, reviews are GOLD.

https://www.janes.com/article/84574/luftwaffe-sets-out-design-drivers-for-next-generation-fighter

Interesting that a lot of the concepts we cover in Bering Strait - autonomous vs piloted, networked drone swarms etc - are in the Luftwaffe's specs for its next gen fighter!

Gift the paperback this holiday season! Special SimHQ price offer - cheaper than AMA$$ON:
