Any tips on Aim 7 usage. Using BMS 4.32 and Battle for SInai. No success with employment even against large non manoeuvring Candids.

Go Single Target Track (lock a locked target and FCR should show STT) and keep lock until hit.
Other than that, dunno - go for guns

Admittedly I have yet to fire a Sparrow in BMS, that I can recall anyway. Liked them a lot in AF though. I'd echo Oden's post. STT, keep the target locked and illuminated until missile impact. As a SARH weapon it's a requirement. Of course this discounts firing parameters, and counter measures, but assuming you're inside the DLZ for the target, I'm thinking this is all that needs to be done?

I think that was my problem I wasn't double locking to enter STT.

This isn't news, but the Sparrow, even though it lacks some of the capability of the slammer, is really good in mixed airspace. The ability to fire it in close proximity of friendly aircraft is a big plus in my view.

When I read that I made this association with that OCA flight we did where I smoked two F-15's just as I came off target with 103% adrenalin but then i realized slammer or sparrow doesn't matter when one doesn't know what one's shooting at in screaming panic
