On steroids.

Some of these have been a round for a while, some are updates to old models and a couple are entire makeovers. Included are all the favs from the old LucarsArts SWOTL plus a few that were missing plus, the Allies get some much needed improvements too:

I'm also working on a couple of screens based on the originals.

I still need to work on some of the flight models and proper loadouts then it will be finished.

PS - Don't forget, the "Alt E" combination will start and stop the contra-prop models rather than using the 1 and 2 engine start/stop buttons.

It was fun and brought back a lot of memories from the early days of flight sims.

I have fond memories of SWOTL. Still have it running in DOSBox on my machine!

I earned my hex editing chops on SWOTL

Turns out the P-38 had a small bug in the flight files that set the top speed to 404 instead of 414. Well, that would never do so I figured out how to use the DOS Debug program and I changed the offending digits.

That opened up an entire world to me, by the time I was done I had a range of aircraft from 1940 to 1947 with all sorts of add-ons.

Like adding a turret to the Do335, a jet powered ME163 and making a super strafer B-17.

I can't recall all the stuff I did but it was extensive.

Then I turned my new found talents to Aces over Europe and Aces over the Pacific and finally to Pacific Air War.

Then EAW arrived and the rest is history.
