Bruce Willis + WW II China + B movie grade CGI + every Hollywood cliche imaginable = hilariously bad trailer

Well that looks pretty terrible. Maybe its the trailer but Bruce Willis' acting is silly and he kind of comes off as though he's not real interested in the part and doesn't really want to be there.

I'm guessing it's made for the Chinese market, and probably funded by Chinese companies.

It was pretty hilarious - it's like they were trying to parody WWII movies.

With the advent of cheaper more readily available CGI effects I'm afraid that more and more movies will rely on them rather than storyline. Or even in the case of a good storyline seeing it somewhat ruined by over the top CGI effects, IE every aircraft that is hit by gunfire exploding violently in torrents of smoke and flames.

You’re not off the mark. This essentially looks like a Chinese film trying to copy the Michael Bay formula and style lock, stock, and barrel.

That kind of makes some since knowing all the different questionable entities Hollywood and its employees are in bed with.

Well....at least this Chinese movie doesn't have MATT DAMON in it and there aren't any mystical dragons or other creatures chasing the planes.

Are you sure that Chinese audience crave for Hollywood movies showing them how the US taught them how to fight for their country ?

Naaa and they can do much better , this one, still cheesy and Hollywoodesque, is not badly done at all:
