Sandbagger has decided that he is not going to serve as a moderator here in EAW and WOFF. He has retired in real life and wants to simplify and relax more.

We have not assigned a regular moderator here yet, so CyBerkut and I will be sharing the coverage and dropping in here as necessary.

I earnestly implore everyone to be civil and try not to escalate disagreements. There is too much talent here to ruin it with unnecessary squabbles. You are all working to the same goal; to improve EAW and add new features and capabilities to the game. Sometimes there are disagreements about things, but everyone is pulling for the same goal. Let’s try to keep that in mind and be both more sensitive to others feelings and at the same time try not to be oversensitive ourselves. Try not to cling to past grievances.

It is a relatively small group, so let’s us endeavor to be a Band of Brothers keeping a vintage game relevant.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

My thanks to Sandbagger for his efforts. I've not heard a word against him, either publicly, or privately. That says only good things about a Mod.

Concur with general thrust of your post. As a newbie here, I definitely do NOT want to take sides amongst major contributors to the site, and I have publicly lamented the occasional incidents of such.

As I am here to learn, it would be foolish, not to mention counterproductive, to take sides.. Aside from that, taking sides would be akin to biting the hand that feeds me, as the saying goes. I may be ignorant, but I am not stupid, Nor am I impolite.

As a newbie, I have universally been blessed with a great deal of help from many longstanding members here, and for which assistance I am very grateful.

My thanks to all on this forum who have helped me. Your assistance to a mere newbie, has made a difference.
