I loved the first Rebel Galaxy, and this seems more of that excelent soundtrack and great good old space fun of the first title, but in a cockpit view!

Homesite:
Rebel Galaxy

Okay, this looks like my kind of game biggrin

I had the first one on my radar, but didn't like the external view only.

Rumours say this was pitched to EA as a Starwars game, they didn't want it, so RGII it became... I just hope GOG will carry it, like the first one.

That looks pretty fun, kinda like Privateer? Does it have Track IR support?

Not sure about TrackIR. But joystick and HOTAS will be supported.

Bit more time to watch the video today.

I mean... how cool can you go? 3d-painting decals on the model and then ordering a 3d-printed version to put next to your screen? Fully simulated pool billard game-in-the-game? 20 hours worth of soundtrack you can select via radio stations, including fake commercials? Fully voiced characters? Ability to record MP4 video in game?

For sure these guys don't mess around with halfbaked ideas. Not sure how a smallish studio could get all this done in such levels of insanity. I like EVERSPACE for my temporary single-player fix, but this seems a proper single player space game with hours worth of content to explore.

All games need a paint feature like that. The forza games had it for a long time and they were so fun to use to paint your car.

Being able to paint your ship in game is vastly superior to having to make a skin and #%&*$# with the UV wires etc.

And we as its creators don't feel ready to hear your annoyed jabber about it.

Looks pretty cool. If its what I'm thinking of, what I did not like about the first game was that you could only move on a single plane and its a space game! I don't understand that and I had a hard time with that, not being able to fly in any direction in space.
