I have given this more thought overnight.
Modred was asking for the possibility of a 160 campaign in a single folder so that he could have multiple folders each with a single theatre in it.
There would be no need for file-manager software, and it would be ideal for career missions wink

So I set something up this morning with a base folder in a 125MB 7-zip download, and the files/folders for Emil's 43-45 ETO campaign, but with the Lancaster in the He111 slot.
This is in a 29MB download.

The user downloads the "160Camp.exe" and runs it to create a "160Camp" folder.
Then they download the "ETO43-45TPS.exe" and run it in the "160Camp" folder.
The only things to be done are the replacement of the "eaw.ini" file by the user's normal "eaw.ini", and the re-naming of the "160Camp" folder to "160ETO43-45"

That last step allows the user to re-run the "160Camp.exe" to add a different campaign.

I tested it this morning and it worked fine.
If there is any demand I will upload the two files and post a link.

Jel wink

Good idea and I thank you for evaluating my ideas.
As for the interface files (main2.pic etc ...) those I can do them because I can use paint shop pro and then I can convert them (I learned). If you want, ask me, if I can help, I'm happy.

When I post the files, I try them, but on Monday because I'm busy this Saturday and Sunday and I can not.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this Lancaster (MS07-Lanc-625_Sqn.ZIP) I found on SandBagger's website is the best I've seen and it's all a complete squadron.
If you can use this, it's 24-bit.

Jel,

I went through some and comparing descriptions and files and old web sites, and dates.
Theres a 1942-1943 ETO download thats even newer than the files I presented to you. It starts in 42 this one.
IDK if its just an upgrade or not. Maybe you can make more sense of it.

1942-45EuropeanAirWar-4245v1.1.zip

http://www.mediafire.com/file/5x6n9j043kjfcn5/1942-45EuropeanAirWar-4245v1.1.zip/file

Note that Flight.zip and FlightGuns.zip inside the archive are two different, the first is for standard gun data, then the 2nd one is for modified gun data.

Modred

That is the folder I used. It is Iron Mike's multiskins of the 625 Squadron Lancasters and he made it for me because my uncle Archie was a mid-upper gunner in that squadron and his regular plane was CF-V (PB150)
[Linked Image]

This is the real CF-V
[Linked Image]

Archie's crew were assigned CF-Y (PB154) for a raid on Bochum (4th Nov 1944) and were shot down over the target with no survivors.
This is an earlier photo of another crew with CF-Y

Mark
Thanks for that link, but I will stick with what we have at this stage. I am using the same files as Modred did, but there were multiple flight model files in that set too, so I picked what I thought would be the best.
I will wait for feedback before making any variations wink

Here's Emil's old Web Site. Now this is most likely before Sandbagger and perhaps Emil got sites together.
But don't get excited as there's only links, the downloads don't work, but it will give you an idea what files where for what, if need be.

I have created a new folder at MediaFire for the 160 career file installation.

Use this link:
http://www.mediafire.com/?0kqoa5ckyst3m

Download and run the "160Camp.exe" to create the "160Camp" folder then download the "ETO43-45TPS.exe" and run it in the "160Camp" folder.
Then re-name the "160Camp" folder as "160ETO43-45" so that a new "160Camp" folder can me created to accommodate a different theatre and planeset.
Use your own eaw.ini file and then launch the "eaw.exe".

wink Jel

I am currently uploading a "SPAWCareer.exe" to the folder.
Run the "160Camp.exe" to create the "160Camp" folder then download the "SPAWCareer.exe" and run it in the "160Camp" folder.
Then re-name the "160Camp" folder as "160SPAWCareer".

wink

Two new files are in the folder.

EAWDefaultCareer.exe
As usual make a new "160Camp" folder and run the EAWDefaultCareer.exe in it.
You will have what is basically a default 1.2 set-up for careers.

OldMapEAW.zip
The exe supplied in the "160Camp" folder installation is the new map version.
For people who prefer the old map version the old map exe is in the zipfile.

Seems like just the ticket for those interested in campaigns. A useful addition.

Hello ... good work MrJelly, but I have any questions ...

I did not understand what it means to install EAWdefaultCareer.exe, I also ask why when I select a single mission and then I say that you have to perform at high altitude, when I enter the aircraft at low altitude.
Finally, how do I insert historical photos of the erei. Is there an editor?
Sorry but I'm not very practical ...

I'll explain.
In the escort mission the fighters are high while the bombers are low.
I also noticed that in the escort mission (P51D - Lancaster) the enemies did not appear (bf109 - bf110G). eek

Thank you Modred. . I painted the Lancs for Mr. Jelly.

Selfish Plug salute

There are quite a few more skins at my page at Talley-Ho.

P.S. Mr. Jelly has access to my entire published catalog.

I just checked and there seems to be an altitude problem with the supplied new map exe.
I cannot check the source code until I get back home, but I do have many versions of the eaw.exe on this laptop.
So there is a replacement one in the folder at MediaFire:

EAWNewMap.zip

Run it in the "160ETO43-45" folder and extract the "eaw.exe" to overwrite the bad one.

Mike. I tried to use the original skins for this theatre, but when there was a conversion problem I used others.
As a result the 109K and Dora have your multiskins too smile

wink Jel

The internet here in Lyon is as slow as a wet week and the 125MB upload timed out at the first three attempts.
However, finally I was successful, with a "160CampV3.exe".

Hello,
I reinstalled the game again but the problem of the low altitude of the bombers is still present. I also noticed this problem in the EAW 1.60 Foundation.
My PC has GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with 6GB Ram and Win 7 Ultimate.
I tell you this because sometimes I have a CTD. I hope these problems are not due to the game but to my PC.
