Has anyone played this new DLC yet?

I just recently finished the campaign as the Venetii and now I'm playing as Rome. The new map of the Italian peninsula and the nearby islands is absolutely stunning and highly detailed. The campaign starts in 399 BC so this predates Alexander the Great by several decades!

I have played the first bit of it as Rome. I am enjoying it. Republican Rome is one of my favorite historical periods, so this is right down my alley!

I’m assuming then that you’ve played the “Caesar in Gaul” and “Hannibal at the Gates” DLC’s? Those are great as well.

I do own all the DLC but I have not played through those two. Just haven't gotten around to them. I had a pretty advanced grand campaign going in Rome II when they did an update and destroyed my saved game, lol. I was to the point where I was just painting the last few provinces red. Then I loaded into it and immediately had a massive civil war after they added the family stuff into the game. I guess I could have looked at it as a challenge but it kind of just made me mad and I shelved it for a long while.
