Okay I hesitated to post this, it's kinda silly/weird.

Those of you that fly combat sims and use a riding mower (non zero turn) to cut your grass, when you're down to that one small patch of grass that you have to make large sweeping turns to make multiple passes to get it all.... does the thought of extending and making multiple bombing/strafing runs on a ground target ever cross your mind?

It does mine, all the time.

biggrin

I kind of imagine making sweeping turns in a motor boat.

Yup, I have been doing my parents lawn with a riding lawn mower and I keep acting like I'm on strafing runs.

Extending for a long run can lead to target fixation. biggrin

Going over an area, many times, in a lawn mower is necessarry to get the job done. Going back and forth over a ground target was never a good idea. It almost always got a guy killed. Hopefully, your grass never starts shooting at you to defend itself. If it does, make one pass and get out of there.
