Any reason you titled a Gripen video "Viggen"? They don't even look all that similar.

A senior moment?

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Well obviously the vertical stab was a bit weak but the way the wings shredded / fuselage snapped in half (and then some) when the aircraft pitched up apparently the entire aircraft was built too lightly.

And am I right, it had no main gear doors?

Yeah, no main gear doors.

Looked like it was the left horizontal stabilizer failed and folded up into the vertical stabilizer which caused the whole tail section to fail.

Vienna, 2nd rock left.
It's interesting because as the announcer in the video says, this was an extra certified model (owning to it's size). Meaning the local aviation authority had a good look at the build process and materials used.

Hey, if it's not an F4 Phantom, an F-104, or an A-10 they're all just "jets" to me. My knowledge of aircraft and being able to ID gets pretty murky after 1945.
