Or, one could go a different way and adapt the Ace of Aces game to WWII.

"Go to page 210" Damn. Head on, close, full guns.

The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events.

More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.com

From Laser:
"The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."

When I first got into the game industry I used to work with Doug Kaufman who was one of the people who helped develop that game (even if the Wiki page leaves him out).

Here's a strategy article he wrote for it: http://www.flyingbuffalo.com/aoastrategy.htm

It means you can have many different levels without the miniatures wobbling on metre tall poles.

I hear you on the tall risers... I hope to find and stick with clear poly in 1" segments each representing 500'..that way 20"s for 10'000 should not be too bad. (maybe 1/2" if it's ungainly)

Man the guy J. D. Webster behind "Whispering Death" has gone above and beyond with his data and research. Obviously a labor of love.
I plan to buy his work and retro fit my vision into it. (3-dimensional combat, cloud layers.. Prevailing winds.. Likely maneuver templates Ala Xwing that include altitude)
