While finishing up a WOFF mission I was presented with a news brief mentioning a canadian pilot put up for a VC. I personally had not heard of him so I looked him up on Wiki. I was presented with another fickle finger of fate situation while reading the article. check it out for yourself, it is rather interesting.

Funny you should post this. I was just reading about this guy's exploits this morning in Jon Guttman's SOPWITH CAMEL VS FOKKER DR I: WESTERN FRONT, 1917-18, p.54.

Hopefully one day we’ll get the AckW in WOFF so we can see him in action. He flew it like he was a fighter pilot
