Just wondering.

Has anyone run a campaign using autopilot to control your character? Does the AI improve as your own skill rises?

That's a good question Nowi! I don't think this has ever been discussed. I certainly haven't tried that.

I have long thought of running a campaign by Albert Ingrahm (AI) where he starts as a Rookie and I just let him fly missions and see how many kills he gets and how long he survives. Can't say I've ever gotten around to doing it though. Flying is too much fun!

I gave it a whirl back a long time ago. The pilot lasted a few missions, but with the AI going full bore every flight the end was near. Besides as Hellshade said it did nor make for much fun. However, with WOFFUE it might be interesting to watch a Rear Gunner on Auto and see what happens.

I set up an American pilot in the 94th in early 1918. N28s. First patrol ended in a hectic 5v5. The AI pilot bore in closely on his quarry, an Albatross D5a. Too close. The poor AI pilot died in a fiery collision. RIP.
