I'll say everything is well, that's the easy way out of such a question wink

Anyway, nice thread you have here, good memories, and you even managed to drag Frug out of his hole biggrin

Yeah, and you too for that matter. Great to hear from you and I hope whatever you're masking isn't so much of a burden.

Now where's that Jive Ass Mother Fluffer gone to? He's about due to pop in this thread I reckon biggrin

Hi Sky, nice to "see" you!

JAMF was seen in the Frugalsrefugees forum some year ago. Not much action there nowadays.

No, not much going on there. I registered and made some posts over the years. It is appreciated, but would always struggle to recapture the magic of FW.

I wonder, if FW had never died, what it would look like today. Bunch of old farts complaining about the kids these days I imagine biggrin

Congrats on having smart kids Wigean, mine wears mismatched socks biggrin

Like it doesn't matter what color each sock is as long as they are the same gauge ? biggrin

That's right D, gauge is the ticket...

Speaking of 2400, this new fancy gigafrick conections we have now don't even give me no audible feedback when it connects.

Don't you miss that ole connecting/handshake tone?

I'm gonna get it as a ringtone for my flip phone. That's what I want.

Hey D, I just got a VOX this week, ...man. It's got the blue.

Was GREAT to see Frugal pop in. He sounds good.

Wow guys. Nice to see you lot again. Miss the old Frugal's world times.
And yeah, I literally registered here just to say that :P

Still pick up BMS from time to time, although I'm more into P3D these days. Was also member of FW Inc. in EVE Online back in the days, but not much left there now. Still got my characters in the game though, but kinda non-active these days; too much good flying to be done in P3D...

Thanks to Sky for pointing me to this thread. smile

First, I'm kinda glad not to have been mentioned by name (or alluded to by D Bond). biggrin

Second, I've thought over the years of what made FW so special. I really do think it was just a lightning-in-a-bottle thing. Can't be replicated. Can't even really be described. It was special. One of the early examples of what became known as "social media." smile When I see my kids deal with stuff online, I think back to some of the same kinds of things happening on FW! (BTW, my oldest daughter was born the year Falcon 4 came out. She's almost 21 now.)

Finally, I wish nothing but the best to all those fellow former Frugalites out there. Even the ones who hated me... and that I wasn't particularly fond of back in the day. smile

Take care everybody.

By the way, looking on Amazon, I think the leading contender for the book written by Mark Bush is "The Nudist's Guide to Shingles."

I'm waiting for my delivery of eye bleach before looking at the preview. smile

I"ve done roofing before, and was always hot. I should get Mark's book. Sounds like I'd be cooler if I learned how to do it naked.

I remember you T Rex. I won't hold it against you though
