So I was in WalMart today and noticed they had a display of "instant cameras." Apparently one can take a picture and instantly have a print of it. No waiting to upload to a computer and then print it! Just click, wrrrrrrr, out it pops, and voila! I conflicted on whether this makes me feel old or young again.

Someone should invent a phone for the home were you don't lose it. I don't know...perhaps have the base in one place and have a cord attached from the base to the mouth/hearing piece, so just need to follow the cord to find out where you left it.
- I know those voices in my head are not real, but man they have some good ideas.
- I never killed anyone, but I have read a large number of obituaries with great satisfaction.
- If I cannot make it to your funeral, I will certainly send a message indicating my approval.
- Most of my Friends are Imaginary
- Time is money, so I decided to sell my watch.

And the cord can also be a power source so you don’t constantly have a dead battery!
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck.” -Robert Heinlein

2 x 3 inch printed photo.
No mention of ink. And if it doesn’t use ink, how much are the special films ?
I think I’ll pass for now.
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

I think I’ll pass for now. There is no separate ink with either system, IIRC. The Fujifilm Instax is the good-old Polaroid film style instant pictures. The Polaroid ZINK system has the ink built into the paper packs you buy, so it's all in the "film pack" together. So both are self contained, press and a print comes out. Cost is (was, when I last kept up) about 20 to 50 cents per shot. Going on memory here, it's been a while.

Yep, standard Polaroid film - though I'm sure the Fujifilm lawyers have a full set of briefs and arguments saying that it's not. Rotating the processing tray 90 degrees so that it's vertical instead of horizontal was a good choice, if it makes it really tall. Two packs of 5 picture loads is 14 USD. So not too bad for Polaroids.
