I have another technical question. When my WOFF UE setup gets me into the cockpit, it always starts with my FOV zoomed right in to the gun(s) and windscreen. I much prefer to fly with the widest FOV, so my first action is always to zoom the FOV out to its maximum extent.

Is there any way I can adjust the settings so that the sim actually starts with the widest cockpit FOV please?

There is a FOV setting in Workshop, somewhere near the bottom right, I believe. Not sure if it's the first screen or on the second, More Settings screen.

Thanks Hellshade, I looked there but the only FOV setting I see is for "External Camera". What I'm looking for is a Cockpit FOV setting.

One of Jara's mods has a setting that allows you to change the default cockpit setting, I believe. He should be along presently to tell you which one it is.

It looks like it's also on Sandbagger's mods page but that one is labeled as version 1.7.

Found it already and implemented it. Delighted to find the range of customizable parameters.

Though I've had WOFF UE (and before that WOFF and before that OFF) on my system for a long time, it's only recently that I've had the time to properly start digging into it. Massively encouraged by all of the recent work people have been doing among other things to eliminate blue triangles, stutter, wobbly heads etc.

Until today, in QC taking an Alb DIII against a BE2c or even a Fok DVII against a Harry Tate was seeing me being the one who got chopped as often as not. Now at last I'm able to hit the dratted things while avoiding most of the return fire (especially used to think that being riddled by a BE2c observer - from inside his "cage" of struts and wires - at over a quarter of a mile "wasn't quite cricket"..!!)
