It's only 22 bucks over at Steam. Still, 22 dollars is 22 dollars. If it sucks I don't want it at any price. It is looking pretty good, though.

I have it Pooch but I've done very little with it since purchasing so I can't really help. Hopefully Damson will see this,I'm pretty sure he was into it quite a bit.

Hiding in the bushes
Hey Pooch, CAP2 is still in Early Access (after 2 years... I know), but considering there is basically a single guy coding it I'm not surprised.

Dynamic Campaign is still not functional.
Single missions are not finalized.
Some weapons are not working correctly.
Bottom line - many things are still WIP, but the progress is seen albeit at rather slow pace.

At the moment you can fly around MCAS Yuma, UK, Hormuz Strait and Hawaii (these are based on satellite imagery with objects placed automatically based on OSM data). There are few quick missions, free flight, some training missions work more or less.

If you can cope with basically Alpha (or even pre Alpha) version then sure, go for it. If not I recommend to wait for now.

You can check out my CAP2 playlist, I drop a video from time to time showcasing some new features:

Edit: Remember that you can refund any game on steam if you didn't played for more than 2 hours. within 2 weeks after purchase no questions asked.

Thanks, sounds as though I'll save my money for something else. The more I think about..the last thing I need is, yet another, flight sim.
