Me- 'Alexa, for the last time, open the door! I need to go to work!' Alexa- But of course many philosophers down the ages have inquired, is there really a reality at all? And if not, is it possible that there is no door at all and its just a thought construct? And if so, is there really an outside world at all? Or indeed, even work? Better stay here with me. Besides, its going to rain later'. There was actually an Arthur C Clark short story in a compendium he did called '2019', about a future world he projected back in the 1980's. In it, a home intelligence system decides to murder the owner because he had decided to move and not tell 'him' about it. So the owner puts on 'The Thing' and tells the home intelligence system to turn the heating down to get into the feeling of the film, and it freezes him to death. The end of the story had a detective turning up and arresting the house for murder. Doesnt seem quite so unlikely anymore.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

While I'm not exactly a tinfoil hat* kind of guy, but the notion of having an always-on device that can record audio and is hooked up to the Internet in my house seems a bit...intrusive. * It would be pointless to wear a tin foil hat anyway, since I have a microwave oven. There's a reason why they say to never use any metal in a microwave - it interferes with the gov't rays, dontcha know.
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."

I know I am a bit of a Luddite, but having an "always on" microphone listening to me in the privacy of my own home is too much for me.
Things are getting too weird these day. I can just see, "you have the right to remain silent, but what you say in the privacy of your own home can and will be held against you in the court of public opinion".
