I have for sale a Flight Link AV-C Flight Simulator Controls for the PC. It's an older unit with a cable that connects to the PC game port as well as a cable with a DA-9 connector that presumably connects to a serial port. The unit is built extreme sturdy and is in great physical and cosmetic condition but needs some solder work as you can see in the video below where I show the unit. I imagine it requires a software driver, which I don't have, but Flight Link is a going concern so contacting them should yield fruit.

I also have a Thrustmaster Rudder Control System (for PC and Mac) in its original box. It's a fairly solid unit with a sturdy aluminum frame. This unit is also featured in the video below. I've repaired the broken plastic bits you see in the video.

Here's the video link:

https://youtu.be/I-yu1EsR9Xg

The Thrustmaster segment begins at 38:46 and the Flight Link segment is right after at 40:00. There is also an index in the comments section of the video.

I'm asking $250 for the Flight Link AV-C and $25 for the ThrustMaster Rudder Control System, or best offer.

I take PayPal (or can accomodate other payment arrangements) and the unit(s) would ship from Sacramento, California. You may also come and pick up if you're nearby. I will ship globally.

For faster response please inquire via e-mail to <sellam.ismail@gmail.com>.

Thanks!

Sellam

Um, excuse me? A simple web search quickly reveals I am who I am. Or maybe actually watch the video?

I am a vintage computer guy, and have some old flight sim stuff I want to sell. It was suggested by a member of this community that I list them here.

Your retracting your comment is appreciated.

I'm not interested in the sale, but the link is indeed working just fine, no issue here. Good luck!

Newsflash for you, when you click the "Share" button on Youtube you get the .be links. Here is the .be link for your own video that you posted above. I understand what your intentions were but maybe do some research into these things before calling out someone on the forums as a fraud/hack, especially new members.

FYI Youtube has been shortening URLs with the .be addresses since 2009. https://www.geek.com/consumer/googl...wn-video-links-by-15-characters-1029511/

I think it's because we're not used to links being posted this way. Personally, this is what I'm used to:

Source

I link the video directly and also provide a link below it; I think before people had problems playing videos directly here on SimHQ so it was practice to provide direct links as well.

You'd do well to provide some timestamps to the items in question, since it's a huge video with a variety of items. (Fortunately for you, I just so happen to be a bit of a vintage computing enthusiast myself; kinda busy working on some Amiga stuff with a local guy right now, but the fact that you have MSX stuff here in the US is pretty interesting.)

RCS pedals: https://youtu.be/I-yu1EsR9Xg?t=2325
AV-C yoke: https://youtu.be/I-yu1EsR9Xg?t=2400

I'll think about the RCS for a bit. That largely hinges on how much it'll cost to ship that thing all the way from California to Georgia, across the US.

While I understand your concern for everyone here, it's worth nothing that youtu.be links are YouTube's own little URL shortener. You're putting on a false alarm there.

Go ahead, take that very video you linked, right-click on it, click on "Copy video URL". This is the exact link it will paste into your clipboard, provided by YouTube: https://youtu.be/yFzsxH4-fe8

wink

Shipping costs to Georgia should be less than $60 via FedEx Ground. I pack everything professionally myself.

Thanks!
