Alright, so we're a ways into the release cycle, and BT still loads like it's 1995 and trying to access the CD drive. Literally multiple minute load times.

The main thing I'm trying to figure out is what the heck is it loading? The between mission screens shouldn't be asset heavy, and even in game, it's not like the CoD98(or whatever they're up to). The in game graphics aren't anything crazy to right home about (they're not bad at all, no complaints, I'm just saying that for what they are they shouldn't each up that much RAM or processor time). I've closed down everything else, dumped the standby cache to clear out all the RAM I can, and BT only takes about a gig for the between mission stuff and less then 4 gb for in mission. I'll even buy it's my HD taking it's sweet time to get it all in RAM initially. After that though, what the heck is going on that takes so long?!

So any suggestions on how to get the load times down to something reasonable? I've got about 45 hours into it, but I swear at least 1/3 of that is the loading screens.

Can’t tell you a real fix, but deleting all but the last few game saves will speed it up if you have more than 10 or so. It just gets worse and worse the more saves you have. I delete all but my last 5.
I do it from the load/save list in game, but you can also do it from the game save folder AFTER disabling steam gane saves. If you delete them manually with that on, Steam will just redownload them and you’ll be right back where you started.
A title update is supposed to come this month or early next month.

Mine's on a NVMe drive, I've taken out all but my latest saves, and still loads slow, so it's not just you smile
It does take a couple of minutes to load.

Well the new Beta release REALLLLLLY sped things up. I'm quite happy with the load times now, all sub minute!
