For those who are not currently watching this show, I would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates though-provoking science fiction. If you enjoyed shows like the new Battlestar Galactica and movies like Blade Runner, you will like Westworld.

Just my 2 cents. smile

It’s up to you to decide if you choose to give the new show a shot.

I will say though that this new series is very different from the Yul Brenner film. They both share the same main premise of a theme park containing artificial humans but that’s it.

I was in junior high when the original Westworld came out. Yul Brynner's character gave me nightmares. Wow, that guy could act...

I tried very hard to make it through the first season and lost steam short by about 2 seasons. It just ran so slow. I head that season finale for season 1 was really really good, but then why couldn't they make the rest of the episodes the at least half as interesting?

I kinda got a synopsis as to how things ended up after season 1 so I can just jump right into season 2, but it failed to hold my interest too. <shrug>

All I know is that I hope that someone really cleans out those hookerbots once they're done working...

I think WestWorld is terrific. I just watched the episode centered around the Indian, Ake. That was some good television right there.

Hey bones, at least you gave the show a try and it just simply wasn't your cup of tea. The show is definitely a very slow burn. I won't deny that. smile

It was the most unique episode of the entire series so far.

I know Anthony Hopkins must be super expensive for the show's producers but boy is he worth it!!!

I think a part of it too is that I don't have alot of time these days for TV what with a new baby and all, so the show had better grab me! "American Horror Story" is another one that I tried and could never make it past the first episode of the first season or second season. It took me until this latest season to make it all the way through, and by then it was only becaue I had already gone so far I might as well finish.

There are shows that I do like and I can't even watch them live because of time. "Archer" for instance. How bad is that that I don't even have time to watch a 30 minute show (20 since there are commercials to FF through)...just no time...
