Well, in this case, what fixed it was installing Steam onto the new drive. I had moved the game over, but not Steam. Oddly enough, it played, but in Russian. I installed Steam, and restarted CLOD. All fixed. If it had an issue with Steam not being there, why did it play at all? Well, doesn't matter, I guess.
