I uninstalled DCS World some time ago after DCS World Beta was released. The Beta runs fine without it. But I'm about to move the Eagle Dynamics folder over to an external ssd and I see that there's a DCS World folder still inside there, with the DCS World Beta Folder. Can I delete that without affecting the Beta folder? It's over 800 MBs. I don't want unnecessary files on the ssd if I don't need them. Thanks for reading.

Actually, the only mods I've added to DCS are your skins. I suppose I can just lift it out and save it, then put it back if something isn't quite right. Thanks for answering, Tom.

Anything the game needs to run is stored in two places: the main game folder (anywhere on your PC), and the Saved Games folder on the system drive. Whatever you've got on that SSD of yours seems to be leftover trash from some old installation. Why don't you take a look what's inside? If it's a folder structure with Tom's skins in it, there's your answer.

I have also a DCSW Open Alpha full of mods - you have also to move them to another directory , in your C: drive - do a search for "DCS" and you will find it.
