We might have different tastes in horror. My favorite though is probably the Shining, but I have a soft spot for good slashers. I prefer terrifying ones with great character development that get you to yell at the screen, such as Last House on the Left, but I <3 Wes Craven's masterpieces, too. horror and sci-fi might even be tied as my two favorite genres.
Never been a horror fan really, but of the ones that I've seen only the Japanese/Korean ones really came close to creeping me out. There's just something about that slightly different cultural outlook that I don't quite grasp that really hits me off-center.
