Yes, the difference between BH&H and WOFF UE is like the difference between a Ford Focus and a Royals Royce.
Both with get you there, but one is a whole lot nicer than the other.

I was going to get the new DVD , but its $55. is it worth it to upgrade ? The answer is YES, a big yes, only: I did have OFF3 wayback in 2009, running on a AMD6400+ dualcore, 4gb RAM, GT7300-0,5Gb. I do not think I can run WoFF UE on that old sytem, so do check the minium system specs at the official WoFF site, before buying. http://www.overflandersfields.com/support.htmlIf its is ok, get it!!

Straight from the WOFF UE website:
:Recommended System To run WOFF at high settings, a very good CPU Mhz speed is highly recommended. Multi-core will only help speed very slightly as it will help only background processes. Intel 3.6+GHz CPU or higher. NVidia Graphics card, 780 GTX or above with 2GB VIDEO RAM or preferably more - for full new graphics features in WOFF UE. Equivalent ATI graphics card with 2GB+ RAM should be fine but not recommended. PC with WINDOWS 7 or 10 (64 Bit) Windows 8, 8.1, 10 (all 64 Bit) are fine (Windows 10 needs the latest WOFF updates installed) 8GB RAM or higher You must also be a full Admin user.
A PC Joystick Optional rudder pedals can help immersion and control. Direct X 9 must be installed. See the WOFF UE FAQ section 4 available above. Naturalpoint's TrackIR head tracking hardware (or similar) very recommended to allow full immersion when looking around in virtual cockpit easily. We recommend you close all possible background tasks, AV scanners and other tasks that can take away from your CPU / HD usage.
: Minimum System To run WOFF at lower settings, you must change to lower settings in Workshop, as per the FAQ. Intel 3.0 GHz CPU Speed or higher. NVidia Graphics card, 660 GTX or above or equivalent NVidia card. A graphics card with 1.5GB or more is recommended, or equivalent ATI graphics card. PC with WINDOWS 7 64 Bit, WINDOWS 8 or 8.1 64 Bit, or WINDOWS 10 64 bit. 6GB RAM or higher.
A PC Joystick. We recommend you close all possible background tasks, AV scanners and other tasks that can take away from your CPU / HD usage and some Anti Virus, Norton, and some free ones can cause issues please read the WOFF UE FAQ above. Direct X 9 must be installed. See the WOFF UE FAQ section 4 (see top of this page).
IMPORTANT NOTES: WOFF requires a 64 bit operating system: Windows 7 (64 bit), Windows 8 or 8.1 (64 Bit), or Windows 10 (64Bit). It will also work on Vista 64 bit but Windows 7 64 bit or higher is recommended. * * * PLEASE READ THE WOFF UE FAQ available from the top of this page for important information for before, and after install. * * * The following are NOT supported: 32 bit operating systems such as Vista 32, Windows 7 32 bit or Windows 8 32 bit. Although they may work they have definitely not been tested, and is therefore not recommended and not supported officially - we cannot offer help or refunds if you do not use one of the required Operating systems, or graphic card manufacturers (NVIDIA / ATI). We do not support Windows XP. That Operating System is at 'end of life' i.e. no longer supported or updated even under extended support since APRIL 2014 by Microsoft.
NOTE: You are required to own Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 and a PC and the requirements above for WOFF UE. You will need a Joystick We very recommend a TrackIR or other head tracking system (some are free such as FaceTrackNoIR), it will greatly enhance the immersion and aircraft tracking and viewing. Obtaining Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3 : Note CFS3 disk is no longer required to physically install or play WOFF Ultimate Edition version or above - however for licensing we require you to own CFS3. CFS3 is obtained easily and cheaply from stores such as Amazon.com (USA), Amazon.co.uk (UK) or your regional Amazon. Search for "Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3" (without the quotes). It can also be easily found in many other places such as Ebay and other on-line retailers. Some users reported that they obtained it from old-games.com (searched for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 3).
NOTE we do not recommend or endorse old-games.com - so use it at your own risk. For older versions of WOFF prior to WOFF Ultimate Edition (i.e. WOFF1, WOFF2, WOFF3) you DO need CFS3 to install. If you download CFS3, and it's not an ISO that you can "mount" or burn to CD/DVD, then you may need to install CFS3 first so the older WOFF install can find it. WOFF is massively advanced from CFS3 - no comparison.
Gaming Laptops: Laptops are not supported directly and no refunds can be given if there are any problems running WOFF on a laptop, or a system with non recommended components. Although WOFF will usually work on high specification of Laptop systems, it's not recommended, and we cannot offer support due to their non- standard nature which may have issues. The actual performance speed of laptop components under heavy load and the subsequent throttling due to heat management can be less than satisfactory and rarely will perform near a desktop PC with similar specifications. GPU's in Laptops can often be non-standard or cause issues. We cannot offer refunds or support for purchases if you intent to use on a laptop, it is at your risk. We have as good will, added some information in the FAQ if you have a dual video card laptop which may help. If you laptop does NOT have NVIDIA or ATI then although it may work, we recommend you definitely do not purchase WOFF to run on such a system. Also note low screen resolution screens found on some laptops may cause problems with the keyboard/controller configuration tool (needs basic screen size preferably over 1400 width, otherwise you will need to configure on another PC then copy .xca settings file from the C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\OBD_Games\OBDWW1 Over Flanders Fields

I run a 660 GTX graphics card so your 1050Ti should be plenty 'stout'. I am currently acquiring components for an 'ultimate' system, though. The bitcoin mining BS has driven vid card prices to ridiculous levels at present. Sorry only I prefer to hear it from an 1050ti user, because Lederhose couldn’t get his 1050ti running on WoFF. Maybe an wrong driver install or a bad Vcard, but you never know.

my thread from back then http://SimHQ.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/4334706/1For me it was the drivers available. I now use the 1060 which is also a pascal technology card. It must of been the available drivers at that time that caused the problem, and even with the "hotfix" it was not good at all for my rig. I waited a few months and a few drivers later and baught the 1060. Since I could return it to amazon within 7 days I figured I couldn't lose. Runs well. So perhaps the 1050ti now works.

So this probably wouldn't run it then ?
MB ASROCK|P67 EXTREME4 (B3) P67 R
CORE I5 2500K 3.3G 6M R
8GB RAM
Video card 1050TI 4Gb
Win7 64Bit Bruce, I have almost exactly the same set up as you, down to the same OS, CPU (overclocked to 4.4), memory, and P67 MB, except mine is an Asus, AND I recently put in a new Nvidia 1050Ti graphics card, and I can tell you it runs WOFF UE perfectly fine, with almost all of my settings (except for regional air activity) maxed. My only caution is that you may need to change one of your BIOS settings to get your card to work with your MB. If you have a BIOS from American Megatrends, you may have to go into your BIOS, click on the Boot menu tab, and change the setting for PCI ROM Priority from EFI Compatible ROM to Legacy ROM (your BIOS may be different). When I first installed my card, my BIOS would not post until I changed this setting. After that little hiccup (thanks to kksnowsbear for helping me to solve this problem), I am overall very pleased with my purchase. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!
