I think I will get this. It does look a bit like TW Rome 2 though. ;-)

Considering the ludicrous number of hours I've sunk into EU:Rome, EUIV and Vic2 this will almost certainly be a must buy. Wife doesn't understand why I enjoy looking at maps so much.

Makes a dozen expansions seem cheap by comparison...
What's everyone's thoughts/hopes for Imperator? I'm looking for a game that leans more towards Europa Univeralis than Crusader Kings, but has some more depth and character/empire management.
