As a train fan I really enjoyed that. Terrific footage of some of the great old fallen flags. I kind of jumped around, so I hope Carol and Jimmy got to where they were going. But how could they not in this, "Great country of ours!"

Notice how the people are well dressed.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

I've noticed that as well when I've watched old newsreels from the first half of the 20th century. I'll make a rough estimate and say that dressing up trend started to die out in the mid 1960's.
